WWE Is Planning Big Things For This Year’s SummerSlam 2017, Top Matches Revealed

WWE is planning to make this year’s SummerSlam 2017 PPV really big and some big matches have been planned. One of the things that has been planned for this year’s biggest event of the Summer is Kurt Angle’s WWE in-ring return. As we noted before, Angle’s “ruin me” storyline on Raw will eventually result in the return of Stephanie McMahon to WWE programming. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, this will result in Triple H somehow getting involved and eventually the storyline will end up featuring Kurt Angle’s WWE in-ring return, possibly against Triple H.

The returning John Cena is scheduled to get involved in a big match as well, as he’s scheduled to face Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship in one of the co-main events of the show.

As seen during the Money In The Bank 2017 main event, there was a staredown between AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura and then they went at it. They’re also expected to meet in a singles match at SummerSlam 2017.
