• Top RAW Star Stopped WWE From Breaking Up AJ Styles & Omos

According to Wrestlevotes, WWE was planning to break up the tag team of AJ Styles & Omos in the 2021 Draft, but the plan got canceled.

A top RAW Superstar told WWE Officials that Omos is not ready for a singles run yet, so they should keep him paired with Styles for the time being.

Here’s what the report said:

“WWE had seriously considered breaking the pairing of AJ Styles & Omos during Draft. To the point where that was the plan.

Until people of power (including a main RAW talent) spoke up & expressed thoughts on how Omos isn’t quite ready for singles yet. And they actually listened.”

AJ Styles & Omos won the RAW Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 37 (which was Omos’ WWE debut match), and lost it to RK-BRO (Randy Orton & Riddle) at SummerSlam 2021.

They’ll face RK-BRO in a Title rematch this month at the Crown Jewel PPV.
