According to the Wrestling Observer, SmackDown Live Superstar Samoa Joe is currently out of action with an injury. No word yet on what kind of an injury he has.

Joe was scheduled to face WWE Champion AJ Styles at last weekend’s WWE Supershow Live Events, but he didn’t due to being injured.

Joe last competed on WWE TV on the October 9th episode of SmackDown Live, where he lost to Jeff Hardy in a WWE World Cup qualifying match.

Speaking of injuries, we noted earlier that RAW’s Bobby Lashley is working injured. He reportedly has a separated shoulder.

Lashley is currently involved in a feud with Finn Balor. Balor picked up an upset win over Lashley this week on RAW, but this feud is expected to end with Lashley getting the upper hand over Balor.

As we noted before via The Dirty Sheets, WWE was considering Lashley as a credible challenger for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship. But since Reigns vacated the Universal Championship, no word is available as of now if Lashley is still considered a future challenger for the Universal Championship (especially after this current injury).
