6. Former WWE Wrestler Backstage At AEW Dynamite: Homecoming
According to Bodyslam, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese and former Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champion Keira Hogan were backstage at this week’s AEW Dynamite: Homecoming.
Nese was released from WWE on June 25, and Keira announced last month that she’s leaving Impact Wrestling.
5. WWE Contract Of Another Former Champion Expiring Soon
We recently reported that Adam Cole’s WWE contract is expiring after the SummerSlam weekend.
His contract actually expired after the Great American Bash, but he extended it so he could work NXT TakeOver 36 (which takes place one night after SummerSlam).
According to Fightful Select, former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne’s contract is also set to expire after SummerSlam.
Dunne is currently in a stable with Oney Lorcan and Ridge Holland on NXT.
