Top UFC Fighter Says Roman Reigns Handled The Post-WrestleMania 33 Raw Crowd Perfectly

Roman Reigns 2012

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier is a big WWE fan. After successfully defeating Anthony “Rumble” Johnson to retain his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship (205 lbs) at last night’s UFC 210, Cormier made a reference to WWE’s Roman Reigns on the post-PPV press conference.

Just like Reigns, Cormier gets booed by the fans as well and he was asked how he deals with the hate. Below is what Cormier said:

“I was watching WWE WrestleMania last weekend and I said ‘Wow, it would be great if Roman Reigns pins The Undertaker, clean. It’s how the ‘Old School’ guys do business. Monday night, Roman Reigns walked out to the ring and they booed him for ten minutes, would not allow him to talk, it was the most organic crowd they’ve had in a really long time. He said ‘This is my yard’ and he left. It was perfect, because they were playing the game for him.”
