• Top UFC Star Confirms He Has A WWE Tryout After UFC 230
While promoting his UFC 230 Title defense against Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis, UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier revealed that he has a WWE tryout that was postponed due to his upcoming fight.
The tryout is for the role of a commentator. It should be noted that Cormier also does commentary in UFC (when he’s not fighting).
Below is what Cormier said:
“If I didn’t have this fight, I have been talking to the WWE because they wanted me to go in and do an audition as a member of the commentary team. Because of the fight, I had to push it back.
There may be some DC in WWE sh*t coming. After the fight, I’ll go to Orlando and do my tryout.”
