7. Roman Reigns Working This Weekend’s WWE Live Events, Not Selling His “Injuries” With A Time Off?

As seen on this week’s episode of Raw, Roman Reigns was getting interviewed by Michael Cole when he was attacked by the “Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman. Strowman unleashed a brutal attack on Reigns and this led to medical officials carrying Reigns out on a stretcher.

Strowman wasn’t finished and attacked Reigns again and threw the stretcher containing Reigns off the stage. Reigns was then loaded into an ambulance and Strowman still wasn’t done.

Strowman returned and attacked Reigns inside the ambulance. Strowman then flipped the ambulance with Reigns inside. WWE issued the following kayfabe injury update on Reigns:

Roman Reigns suffers numerous injuries following Braun Strowman attack

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. — Roman Reigns was brutally ambushed by Braun Strowman on Raw Monday night, resulting in cracked ribs, internal injuries and a possible separated shoulder.

After The Monster Among Men’s initial attack, which culminated in Reigns being thrown off a loading dock while strapped to a gurney, The Big Dog was loaded into an ambulance by EMTs. However, Strowman reappeared and continued the brutality by tipping over the emergency vehicle with The Big Dog still inside it.

Reigns was then rushed to a local medical facility in a second ambulance for evaluation. Strowman, meanwhile was forced to leave Long Island, New York’s Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Despite this brutal attack, WWE doesn’t plan Reigns to sell the injury for a long time and he’s scheduled to work this weekend’s WWE Live Events.
