7. CM Punk’s UFC Debut Delayed Again, Ryback Takes A Shot At Him
Former WWE Champion CM Punk’s UFC debut will be delayed yet again as he will undergo back surgery to repair a herniated disc. Below is what Punk had to say about this:
“My back has always bugged me. Figured it was just wrestling sh*t. Turns out it was. It got bad enough to the point where I couldn’t do anything the week before I went to train with the New Jersey Devils last month. One day I could manage, the next day I couldn’t. I’ve been in agony for almost a month. Chiropractor, acupuncture, massage, cryotherapy … nothing worked.”
Ryback, who Punk claimed hurt him intentionally in WWE, once botched a Gorilla Press given to Punk, which resulted in Punk landed on the concrete floor instead of the table. Punk noted on Colt Cabana’s podcast last year that Ryback is either “dumb as f*ck” or he injured him intentionally.
