• During an interview on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer X-Pac revealed that his match against Bret Hart for the WWF Championship in 1994 was the greatest match of his career.

Here’s what Sean Waltman, then known as The 1-2-3 Kid, said:

“Bret was so giving in that match man. I mean he didn’t turn heel, but like he was the heel in that f**king match. He was on me. He made sure that people were behind me. That was like, you know, I mean he’s the top babyface in the company so it’s like – thank you.

He let me do all my sh*t, man. He put it in the proper place but yeah, he let me do everything I wanted to do. Some of that sh*t I never even used to… like I jackknifed him and yeah. That’s the greatest match I’ve ever had. For sure.

There’s like 7 minutes missing from the actual match itself. They chopped it up a little bit to fit it into, to fit it into that segment.”
