Below are some top WWE news stories of the day.

• AJ Styles is open to a one-night return to TNA Wrestling, acknowledging it would be fun but uncertain if it will happen.

Here’s what the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion said during an interview with Chris Van Vliet:

“I don’t know. I’d like to. I think it’d be fun to do something like that, like a one-off. I would definitely do it.”

AJ noted noted how WWE’s relationship with TNA reflects a shift under Triple H, who he believes watches and understands non-WWE talent more than Vince McMahon ever did.

Styles also praised WWE’s partnerships with TNA and NOAH, citing Omos’ experience in Japan as an opportunity to learn and grow, emphasizing that evolving through cross-promotions benefits the industry as a whole.

• Stephanie Vaquer impressed WWE with her performance at AEW’s Forbidden Door and was offered a main roster spot but chose to start in NXT instead. Speaking on Busted Open After Dark, she explained that while WWE had always been her dream, she wanted to take her time learning English, adapting to televised wrestling, and mastering WWE’s in-ring style rather than rushing to the main roster.

Initially, when WWE asked if she preferred NXT or the main roster, she chose the main roster but later reconsidered, deciding that NXT was the better path for her development.

Vaquer also shared a story about receiving a call from Shawn Michaels, who spoke slowly to help her understand his English as he explained why he wanted her in NXT.

Now, she is preparing for a high-stakes Roadblock match on March 11, where she will defend her NXT Women’s North American Championship against Giulia, with Giulia’s NXT Women’s Championship also on the line.

Below is what she said:

“My dream. WWE is my dream… I tried to think like adult, that option. But WWE is my dream and say, okay, this is for me. Many options and talks but, say no. WWE is for me and I take NXT because I really like (to) do things or new things but good. I don’t like the fast and no good. So, I say okay, I need to learn English, I need to learn TV show, I need to learn American style, WWE style.

So I say, first I say main roster. That changed and say, ‘I want to go to NXT for learn…’ Yeah (WWE asked me if I wanted to start on the main roster)… Main roster (was my first answer). The first call, they call me and say, ‘NXT or main roster?’ I say, ‘Main roster…’ Yeah, I think and say, ‘Okay. Take it easy. I need to learn English… Okay, change. NXT.’

It’s weird because I checked the phone and I never think who called. Just say, ‘Hola’ in Spanish and I said, ‘Hola!’ He said, ‘Hello. Shawn Michaels. Hello,’ and now I understand more English and I cannot speak no good. Sorry… When Shawn Michaels called me… I tried to speak in English. But, he say, ‘Okay, I know you understand but you not speak good English. So, I speak slow’ and understand… maybe not 100 percent. But 90 percent and he’s so sweet and speak slow and try to explain to me.”
