• OLD SCHOOL VIDEO HISTORY (August 16, 1986) – The Debut Of Slick

On this day in 1986, Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation aired the WWF debut of famous Old School Manager Slick.

It happened during an episode of ‘The Body Shop’ with Don Muraco replacing Jesse “The Body” Ventura as the host.

Classy Freddie Blassie introduced Slick, who would kind of replace him and take over his stable of Heels.

WWE Champion AJ Styles is now the longest reigning WWE Champion in SmackDown’s history. The previous record was for 281 days – held by JBL.

Another WWE Superstar that has reached a milestone is Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has now held the Universal Championship for over 500 days!

He won the Title from now WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg at WrestleMania 33.
