Veteran WWE referee Charles Robinson posted the following:
“Found this super cute picture of my nephew Shane from 2012 or so. He was such a wonderful soul and he affected so many people. I think everyone in Newberry SC knew him.
Always a straight shooter and he didn’t beat around the bush. He once ask a guy with an eye patch if he was a pirate with no hesitation.
Shane was tragically killed Tuesday night while riding his bike. Love him so much. #rip #nephew”

• Donald Trump & Vince McMahon Expected To Attend John Cena’s Final Match
The anticipation surrounding John Cena’s final WWE match is growing by the day, and if internal speculation proves true, two high-profile names could be sitting ringside for the occasion.
According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, several people within WWE believe that both U.S. President Donald Trump and Vince McMahon are expected to attend Cena’s farewell match, which will take place on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Alvarez said there has been “firm belief” among WWE staff that both men will be present, noting that while McMahon could easily attend as a ticketed guest, the question remains whether WWE would publicly acknowledge him or feature him on television. Trump’s potential presence, meanwhile, would carry obvious political and media implications given his current position as President of the United States.
As of mid-October, reports indicated that Trump had not yet made a final decision about attending. However, his schedule could allow for it. He is already set to appear at the Army vs. Navy college football game in Baltimore earlier that day, leaving him enough time to travel roughly an hour south to Washington for Cena’s match.
Vince McMahon’s potential attendance is equally notable given his controversies. The former WWE Chairman and TKO Executive resigned from all corporate positions in January 2024 following serious allegations of $ex trafficking, $exual assault, and emotional abuse brought forth by Janel Grant.
Despite the scandal, Cena has maintained public support for McMahon, describing him as a personal mentor and expressing his continued affection for him. Cena also attended Vince’s 80th birthday party in August.
Cena’s retirement bout is being built as one of the most historic matches in WWE history. The company has announced the “Last Time Is Now” tournament, featuring talent from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and outside promotions to determine his final opponent.
Current reports suggest Gunther is expected to win the tournament, setting up a blockbuster never-seen-before match against Cena in Washington, D.C.
If Trump and McMahon both attend, Cena’s final match could turn into one of the most talked-about wrestling events in recent memory – not just for its in-ring significance, but for the extraordinary audience it might attract.
