On tonight’s RAW, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley attacked WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez backstage and hurt her knee.
Despite being hurt, Raquel told Adam Pearce that she wants to go ahead with her & Liv Morgan’s scheduled Women’s Tag Team Championship defense tonight.
However, this idea backfired, as Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville defeated them to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
The new champions got a big pyro celebration after the match.
In a backstage interview after the match, Byron Saxton asked Chelsea & Sonya about their title win and how it was basically a 2-on-1 situation.
Sonya then called Raquel’s injury fake and that her tag team with Chelsea has been the best since they joined forces.
Deville tweeted the following about her title win:

Chelsea tweeted:
“Thank you to all of our fans. Especially our #1 supporter Mr @TripleH himself… he knew we would be stars, we just waited for the perfect moment to prove it!!!!!!”
Triple H tweeted the following about Chelsea & Sonya’s big moment on RAW:
“Ready to make this moment their own. Congratulations to your new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green.”
This is the 1st title reign in WWE for both Chelsea & Sonya.
