On this day in Pro Wrestling history on January 13, 1993, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Clash Of The Champions 31’ LIVE on TBS from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

This featured a teased breakup between 4 Horsemen members Ric Flair & Arn Anderson, after their loss to Big Van Vader.

Vader himself turned babyface in a segment that aired during the event, when he made the save for his former rival Hulk Hogan, who was attacked by The Dungeon of Doom.

As we noted last night, former NXT Champion Adam Cole and Pat McAfee had a verbal confrontation once again, where McAfee made fun of Cole’s size again and called him a little b*tch on NXT.

Things then got physical and McAfee punted Cole in the head. This is when WWE Hall of Famer Triple H (head booker of NXT) intervened and got physical with McAfee for attacking his guy.
