• Triple H Has Offered Another Match To Stone Cold Steve Austin

6-Time WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin gave the fans a taste of the Attitude Era once again, when he came out of retirement at WrestleMania 38.

In the main event of Night 1, he defeated Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match.

Then on Night 2, he laid out Vince McMahon, Austin Theory & Pat McAfee with Stunners and had his usual Beer Bath.

Will Austin ever come back for one more match?

According to Wrestlevotes, Austin would definitely listen to ideas as he was very happy with how things went at WrestleMania 38:

“I know that he had a wonderful time doing it in Dallas. He was happy, he was elated. Let’s say that the performance of the match, everything went so well and people loved it so much, so I know he was thrilled post WrestleMania. And I’d say he was open to doing it again.

Source believes Austin would definitely listen to any proposal for next year’s Mania. Me, nor the rest of the world, knows what his answer would be however.”

During an interview on the Brewbound Podcast earlier this year in April, Austin had the following to say about making an appearance at WrestleMania 39:

“I would really imagine that within the scope of that show, that’s gonna be a big show in a big time city and it’ll be a two-night event again so…

I’m not — I’m sure I’m done wrestling per se, but as a part of WWE, I can’t imagine I would not be there in some capacity and I’m not booking myself on the show because I didn’t book myself on 38.

That’s a Vince [McMahon] thing and I have a great relationship with him and if I get the call, I’ll be there.”

Austin recently posted a workout video on his Instagram story, where he’s looking in very good, muscular shape.

This has begin speculation that he’s training for another match. You can watch it below:

Austin then went on to post another workout on Instagram, which you can watch below:

Fightful Select is now reporting the following:

“WWE offered Stone Cold Steve Austin another match since the regime change happened.

We’re told WWE at least wants him to do more with the company. Specifically, we’re told that while the Vince McMahon regime had hoped to have Austin come back to do another match, that the Triple H regime had actually made an offer for Austin to do another match.

The sources that we spoke to weren’t sure if that meant for a Saudi Arabia match, WrestleMania, or anything else, but that there was an offer. Those sources presumed it was for WrestleMania in LA, but wouldn’t confirm that or a potential opponent. Another source indicated that initially, Austin and WWE were far apart on terms.”

We’ll keep you updated regarding this situation.
