Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Triple H and Hulk Hogan.
• Scott Steiner revealed that his son, Brock Steiner, is drawing attention in sports and could soon pursue a wrestling career.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the WWE Hall of Famer shared that Triple H recently extended Brock a WWE NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deal.
“Matter of fact, Hunter called me the other day — maybe like, probably three weeks ago — and offered my boy an NIL deal,” Scott said.
Brock caught WWE’s eye after making standout football plays, including a 75-yard touchdown, which ESPN highlighted alongside comparisons to his father’s wrestling career. “It was good for him, and, you know, WWE saw that. So, one thing led to another,” Scott explained.
Scott confirmed that Brock has aspirations to become a professional wrestler, and WWE’s offer brings that goal closer to fruition. While Brock’s wrestling debut is still on the horizon, fans are excited to see the Steiner legacy continue.

• Hulk Hogan’s WWE return during the Netflix premiere of Monday Night RAW on January 6 was met with unexpected boos.
While promoting his Real American Beer alongside Jimmy Hart and addressing the fans, the 2-time WWE Hall of Famer faced a negative crowd reaction that has since become a topic of discussion.
Eric Bischoff, Hogan’s former boss, shared his perspective on the backlash during his podcast. Bischoff suggested the reaction stemmed from Hogan’s perceived political associations, particularly with Donald Trump.
“You know, if you’re someone who hasn’t spent a lot of time in California — particularly LA or San Francisco — you’ve heard all the stories about how liberal it is and all that. But until you’ve been there and realize just how intensely liberal and Democrat California is, you might not think that that could possibly be the reason why Hulk got booed,” Bischoff said.
He further explained, “Hulk and Trump are kind of joined at the hip now, in the eyes of many. At least publicly, given Hulk’s involvement in — and of course, you’re gonna have some backlash in California. You can’t be shocked, you can’t be surprised. You could be disappointed, but you can’t be surprised.”
