According to Sports Illustrated, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H wants to turn SmackDown Superstar IYO SKY babyface and have her feud with Bayley down the line.
Bayley brought IYO and Dakota Kai to the WWE main roster at SummerSlam 2022, together known as Damage CTRL.
IYO is currently the favorite to win the Women’s Money In The Bank 2023 Ladder Match, and word going on is that if she wins MITB, then she will indeed be the one to dethrone Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship.
HHH has been a fan of IYO for many years now and feels it’s time for IYO to become a singles champion in WWE.
Below are IYO’s accomplishments in WWE so far:
– 2x WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion
– 1x NXT Women’s Champion
– 1x NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion
– 2022 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winner
So far during her WWE main roster career, IYO has only competed for a singles Women’s Championship once.
At Backlash 2023, IYO faced Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship and lost. Bayley & Dakota interfered in this match and it backfired on IYO.
