Earlier today, WWE announced that 16-time World Champion John Cena will face Solo Sikoa at the Crown Jewel 2023 premium live event in Saudi Arabia on November 4th.
This is going to be Cena’s second Saudi Arabia event. He has only worked the inaugural Saudi event so far, which was Greatest Royal Rumble 2018.
The Greatest Royal Rumble is also the event which features Cena’s last televised singles match victory.
Cena is looking to break this 2,000+ day unfortunate streak next Saturday, and pick up his first televised singles win in over 5 years.
According to insider source BWE, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H is planning to add another match to this PLE: IYO SKY (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Below is the current match-card for WWE Crown Jewel 2023:
– Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight
– John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa
– World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
