WATCH: Revealing Shots Of Brandi Rhodes (Cody Rhodes’ Wife):
• At WWE Bad Blood 2024, a heated confrontation between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and wrestling legend Bill Goldberg sparked rumors about Goldberg’s potential return to the ring. Gunther, fresh off a WWE Crown Jewel announcement, taunted Goldberg, calling him a “one-trick pony” as Goldberg sat in the crowd with his family. Security prevented Goldberg from retaliating, and Sami Zayn stepped in to confront Gunther instead.
During the post-event press conference, Triple H was asked about the possibility of Goldberg wrestling again. While acknowledging the challenges of aging in wrestling, Triple H hinted that a comeback might not be out of the question, saying, “Never say never.”
Triple H mentioned, “Atlanta loves Bill Goldberg, and that’s why he was here tonight with his wife and his son.” He added, “When Bill came back, he was not too happy with Gunther. We’ll see. The further you go, time catches up with all of us… but there was a different look on [Goldberg’s] face with a spark in his eye.”
Though nothing is confirmed, Triple H’s comments have fueled speculation that Goldberg may return for one final match, possibly against Gunther.
