• Triple H Reacts To Showing AEW Wrestler Britt Baker At NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019
At last night’s NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019, Team Ciampa (Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic & Kevin Owens) defeated Team Undisputed Era in a War Games match in the main event.
The end came when Ciampa hit a huge slam on NXT Champion Adam Cole from the top of the cage and through two tables to get the pin!
You can watch it below:
After this bump, AEW wrestler Britt Baker (who was seated in the front row) was shown because Cole is her boyfriend.
WWE showed the following shot of Baker being shocked with the huge bump:
NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo even acknowledged Baker by her name and her relationship with Cole.
During the post-TakeOver media conference call, Triple H was asked about Britt being shown during the broadcast and HHH noted that the director just went for the best reaction in the crowd for the final bump and it was that of Britt.
While Triple H doesn’t have a problem with Britt being shown, he felt bad for putting Britt in that position.
Triple H just spoke to @RealBrittBaker and he says the director didn't know who the shot was, he went to the person in the crowd who had the most unbelievable look on their face, and it was her. He doesn't have a problem with it, but feels bad for putting her in that position
