In the main event of Saturday night’s UFC 276 pay-per-view, Israel Adesanya defeated Jared Cannonier to retain the UFC Middleweight (185 lbs) Championship.

Adesanya came out for this fight dressed as WWE Hall Of Famer The Undertaker and also had The Deadman’s theme song.

UFC Hall Of Famer Daniel Cormier, who is also a fan of WWE, said on commentary that this was the greatest entrance in UFC history.

You can watch it below:

Undertaker tweeted the following about it:

“The long walk many opponents know and fear … congrats @stylebender!”

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Adesanya had the following to say about this entrance:

“That came to me last Tuesday. During my workouts with my team, I normally have WWE ‘Attitude Era’ theme music playing. So this made sense for me. The whole UFC production helped bring my vision to life.”

Later during an interview with BT Sport, he was asked about the possibility of joining WWE one day.

Below is what the 32-year-old said:

“Definitely, that is something I’ll try my hand at later on, just for fun. I’m not saying it’s going to be a full-time job, but I’m definitely going to jump in the WWE. I grew up jumping off the couch, broke my arm, shooting stars.”
