9 Years ago today, the Wrestling World lost WWE Veteran Umaga (Real name: Edward Fatu). He was 36 years old.

Umaga was found unresponsive & blood was coming out of his nose on that day. He was then taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He suffered a heart attack.

Before he adapted the character of Umaga in 2006, he was known as Jamal, one half of the Ruthless Aggression Era Tag Team ‘3-Minute Warning’.

Umaga was the brother of Rikishi (a.k.a Headshrinker Fatu), and Tama (The Islanders) a.k.a Tonga Kid.
