Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring The Undertaker, Triple H and MJF.
• WWE RAW’s three-hour runtime has long been a point of criticism, even as the product has received praise under Triple H’s leadership. WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, who was still active when RAW expanded to three hours in 2012, remains surprised by its length.
On his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker shared his thoughts on attending SummerSlam 2024 and sitting backstage with Triple H during the following RAW. He recalled joking with Triple H about how long the show runs.
Here’s what The Deadman said:
“I saw Paul, Triple H, at the end of the night. That’s a lot of wrestling for me to attend on my schedule these days. I went up to him, gave him a hug. Told him bye. I said, ‘Alright, I’ll see you at ‘Mania’. (Laughs) He got what I was saying.
The whole time I sat up at Gorilla Position with Paul and Bruce Prichard and then myself, we’re sitting up there. I was like, ‘This show’s really 3 hours long?’ I know it is, but I was just like, when you guys go to Netflix, is this show gonna cut back down to 2 hours? 3 Hours, why 3 hours? (Laughs)
It’s been 3 hours forever now, but I was just kind of trying to stress the point of 3 hours is a lot of wrestling on a Monday night.”

• MJF’s future in professional wrestling was a hot topic, especially during his reign as the AEW World Champion, when he hinted at the possibility of joining WWE in what he called the “Bidding War of 2024”.
However, after losing the title to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End and returning from an injury hiatus at Double or Nothing, MJF made it clear that he was staying with AEW and was making a significant amount of money.
In an interview with WrestleTalk, MJF reflected on the Bidding War of 2024:
“I won. I’m f**king rich. It’s f**king crazy. You don’t understand. I have so much money. It’s hilarious. The whole locker room f**king hates me because they all know how much I’m making and they are not… it’s peanuts in comparison.
I’m only 28. You have guys walking around in their 40s who have given their body to this industry. They’re dying, practically, and they don’t make a fraction of what I make.
It’s f**king great. I got the bag. It’s sick. Tony is a f**king mark. My God. Showed me the number. Phew. Signed fast. Fast. Yes, I won.”
When asked about possible conversations with WWE, MJF declined to comment, saying, “I can’t answer that for legal reasons because if I did have conversations with WWE, that would be considered what?”
