Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and Drew McIntyre.

• On his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker was asked about his reaction to Hulk Hogan getting booed on the RAW Netflix premiere.

When the co-host asked Taker if he gave Hogan a hug backstage after the negative reaction, Taker said ‘no’ and went on to say the following:

“When I saw him, he was no selling it and pushing his beer. I didn’t see. I wasn’t backstage when he came (to the backstage area).

I got feelings for people. Sometimes, in life, things come back. He was bigger than life, Americana kind of deal, then he gets caught on tape saying some derogatory, racist things. In this day and age, where all of that is such a hot-button deal, I don’t know what you expect. People are going to react, and they are not going to react in a positive way.

Fans have access now to everything. They get to hear people’s interviews and they feel like they are part of that locker room. This is somebody that was, regardless of where he’s at now, they still carry a grudge about it.

He’s come back before, since all of the stuff with his daughter and the racial stuff. He’s come back and gotten positive reactions.”

• Drew McIntyre is set to make a big move to the SmackDown brand following his dramatic elimination from the Royal Rumble.

According to PWInsider, WWE has been planning this shift for months, and unless there’s a sudden change, McIntyre will be joining the blue brand soon as part of the transfer window.

His recent win over Sami Zayn on the Royal Rumble go-home episode seems to have served as his farewell match on RAW, concluding his lengthy tenure on the red brand.

Current plan is for McIntyre to face Damian Priest at WrestleMania 41. Priest was recently transferred to SmackDown as well.
