On this day in 2002, World Wrestling Entertainment aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWE Monday Night RAW’.
It was broadcasted from the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWE Vengeance 2002’ PPV.
This show featured a Ladder match for the WWE Undisputed Championship between The Undertaker and Jeff Hardy in the main event, which was a classic match and is still talked about by the fans today.
While Hardy failed to capture the WWE Title, he earned Undertaker’s respect, as a heel Taker raised Hardy’s hand as he was impressed by the effort put in the match by the young Jeff Hardy (who currently wrestles on SmackDown). You can watch the full match below in this article.
