Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving The Undertaker.

• On his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker revealed which role in WWE is the worst:

“There is absolutely zero chance I would have ever went on commentary. They’ve got it the absolute worst.

Funny thing is, though, what people don’t realize, there were two really good places to watch the show from: either at Gorilla position next to Vince (McMahon) or go to the truck and listen to Kevin Dunn communicate to his people.”

It’s well known that Vince was known for shouting at the commentator through the headset while the show was going on, and the commentators were forced to say whatever Vince wanted them to. This is no longer the case with Triple H running the creative side.

• The Undertaker, known for his unwavering commitment to his character, revealed that Vince McMahon often tried to make him break character as part of a challenge.

Speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, Teddy Long shared a story of McMahon instructing him to get The Undertaker to dance before a show. Long warned The Undertaker it was Vince’s idea, but The Deadman flatly refused.

Here’s what Teddy said:

“I remember one time, [The Undertaker] was already down in the ring, and I was getting ready to go out. Vince calls me back and says, ‘When you get down there, go to Taker and make him dance. Do that dance.’

I just looked at him and didn’t say anything. When I got down there and saw Taker, the first thing I said was, ‘Do not hit me. Vince told me to do this.’ He looked at me and said, ‘I ain’t doing that sh*t.’”

The Undertaker explained that McMahon had a peculiar fixation on finding ways to crack or embarrass him, including infamous moments like the spinaroonie challenge. He found it strange that a billionaire would focus on such antics, describing it as part of McMahon’s unique way of entertaining himself.

Here’s what The Deadman said:

“That man had such a vendetta. It was like he thought his goal in life was to figure out ways to mess with me — one, to crack me, and two, to embarrass me somehow. It felt like, ‘This is how a billionaire spends his time? Trying to break the talent?’ That was just his thing.

The whole spinaroonie thing and all of that — it was just him trying to get me to bust character. You’d think he’d be like ‘Man, you guys should watch that, that’s what you should be doing’ but nah.”

Despite McMahon’s persistent attempts, The Undertaker’s resolve remained unshaken.
