Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Gable Steveson and Karrion Kross.

• Gable Steveson appears to have fully committed to WWE, indicating that his amateur wrestling days, including a potential return for the 2024 Olympics, are likely over.

Despite not being featured on television since last summer, Steveson has participated in a few live events in NXT, with his sole televised match resulting in a double count-out against Baron Corbin at NXT The Great American 2023.

Recently, he worked a dark match at a SmackDown event, with plans for more appearances in the coming weeks.

According to PWInsider, WWE plans to have Steveson at pretty much every SmackDown taping on Friday, so he can work dark (untelevised) matches before the shows and get better by getting more in-ring experience.

Before last night’s SmackDown started, Gable faced Cameron Grimes in a dark match and won.

Gable already has “go away” heat with the fans. He wore an Atlanta Hawks jersey in front of the Atlanta crowd for this match and got very loud boos.

New Video: Revealing Video Of Noelle Foley (Mick Foley’s Daughter) Dancing In A Bikini:

• Karrion Kross, accompanied by his new stable called The Final Testament, has released videos featuring WCW Legend Kevin Sullivan as “Father Kevin”.

The video, not released by WWE but posted on Kross’ social media and YouTube, shows Kross rejecting Sullivan’s offer of salvation, citing his own reasons and warning of an impending societal collapse.

The vignettes draw parallels between Kross’ faction and Sullivan’s “family” from the early ’80s.

You can watch it below:

This marks a significant storyline for Kross since his WWE return in 2022, as he joined forces with Paul Ellering and The Authors of Pain in a surprising interruption on SmackDown this year.

The faction’s formation is the first substantial storyline for Kross and the return of The Authors of Pain after a considerable hiatus.

They are currently feuding with Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits. Both factions will have a face-off on next week’s SmackDown.
