• Update On How Long Kofi Kingston’s Possible WWE Title Reign Could Be

This Sunday at WrestleMania 35, Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston.

Just like Becky Lynch, Kofi has big time support from the fans for this match and they want to see Kofi finally win the big one on the Grandest Stage of them all.

While it can’t be confirmed as of this writing whether Kofi will win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35 or not, there’s a pretty good chance of Kofi becoming WWE Champion this month.

As we noted before, Daniel Bryan is once again refusing to work WWE’s Saudi Arabia PPVs and WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia for the post-WrestleMania 35 PPV in May.

With Bryan refusing to work the post-WrestleMania 35 PPV, backstage expectation in WWE is that Bryan will be dropping the Title to Kofi and Kofi will carry the WWE Championship to Saudi Arabia.

If Kofi indeed wins the WWE Championship, his reign is expected to last till SummerSlam 2019 and there’s a reason behind it.

We noted last year via The Dirty Sheets that Vince McMahon is interested in having Randy Orton hold the WWE Championship when SmackDown moves to FOX later this year because Vince thinks Orton has a great look and he’ll be the perfect man to represent the company in front of a bigger audience on FOX.

So it’s possible that Orton is the one who eventually takes the WWE Title from Kofi down the line.
