• WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event returned to NBC, drawing 2.3 million total viewers with high-profile matches, including Cody Rhodes successfully defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens and Liv Morgan retaining the Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY.

Despite the strong lineup, former WCW star Konnan criticized the show for lacking excitement and compelling elements like promos or run-ins, which he felt were necessary to hook new viewers.

Speaking on Keepin’ It 100, Konnan expressed disappointment, suggesting the show failed to create anticipation for future WWE programming and speculated that WWE might be saving key content for Netflix.

He also stated he has little interest in watching future episodes if they follow a similar format.

Notably, the most buzzworthy moment occurred off-air when Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes, stole the Winged Eagle title, and had a heated confrontation with Triple H.

Here’s what Konnan said:

“I was underwhelmed. They didn’t do any promos, they didn’t do any run-ins, they didn’t do anything that would make you want to see, like if you were a new viewer and you hadn’t seen it in a while, anything that would make you want to see Raw. Maybe they’re saving everything for Netflix, but I was very underwhelmed.”
