• Update On Kyle O’Reilly After Tonight’s NXT
In the main event of tonight’s NXT, Pete Dunne and NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch defeated NXT Champion Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong in a 6 man tag team match after Adam Cole interfered.
Cole superkicked O’Reilly & Balor and posed with the NXT Championship to end the show.
O’Reilly was suplexed on top of steel ring steps by Cole. Triple H and WWE doctors & trainers came out to check on O’Reilly and he was then stretched to the back.
Fans in attendance went on to note that O’Reilly suffered a seizure after the match due to his type 1 diabetes.
However, that’s not the case.
According to multiple sources, this was just an angle to sell Cole’s attack on Kyle and Kyle is absolutely fine.
Ryan Satin reported the following about it:
“From what I’m being told, Kyle O’Reilly did not suffer a real seizure after NXT tonight and did not suffer a medical episode. According to WWE sources, it was all just part of storyline.
I’m also told that there was no intent to make it look like he was suffering a seizure. That just spread due to what was reported back from the few fans in attendance.”
