The first girl to come out and accuse David Starr of sexually abusing her, Tori, shared a story to bring some positivity in the currently negative environment in the pro wrestling world.
She revealed how former WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn made her feel comfortable at a WrestleMania afterparty in California, when she thought she was stuck at the hotel.
“I want to tweet about the good guys too.
My best friend & I ended up at a Mania afterparty in California because her dude at the time was close w Sami Zayn.
She had left & I was trying to get in touch with my friends who promised to pick me up from the party but they weren’t answering. My phone was dying and this was right before Uber was huge so I didn’t know how to use it.
The party was dying down and I started panicking and sobbing thinking I was stuck in this hotel in California.
Sami asked if I was okay. He has a very peaceful aura and said something to the effect of it’ll be okay, the sun always comes out tomorrow. It wasn’t to be condescending, he genuinely meant it.
I have kept that little line in my heart since then.”
