• Update On SummerSlam’s Location, Limited Number Of Fans May Be Allowed

WWE confirmed last week that this year’s SummerSlam will no longer be taking place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

PWInsider previously reported that the company is considering holding SummerSlam at an outdoor location like a beach or a boat.

In an update to that report, WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE is going to great lengths to find a location for the event. They’re even considering a limited number of fans to be allowed, but they haven’t been successful yet.

“WWE has looked into hosting SummerSlam within the Northeast at an outdoor location w/ limited fans, and as of now, have found no interested states in allowing that to happen.”
