On this day in 1992, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.
This episode was pre-taped from the Centrum in Worcester, Massachusetts, and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the SummerSlam 1992 PPV.

• Update On Top WWE Star’s Return Date
As we noted before via the Dirty Sheets, former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose is expected to be in Seth Rollins’ corner during the Intercontinental Championship match against Dolph Ziggler (with Drew McIntyre in his corner).
However, if Ambrose isn’t used at SummerSlam 2018 for some reason, then the RAW after SummerSlam 2018 or the August 27th edition of RAW from Toronto are that dates where Ambrose could return, according to Joe Peisich of the No Holds Barred podcast.
Joe noted that if Ambrose doesn’t return on the RAW after SummerSlam 2018 either, then he will return on the August 27 episode for sure.
So the conclusion is Ambrose will return to WWE programming this month.
