On this day in 1997, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW MONDAY NITRO’.
It was broadcasted from the Coliseum in Denver, Colorado and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Fall Brawl 1997’ PPV.

• Update Regarding Brock Lesnar’s Status
According to Slice Wrestling, Vince McMahon and current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar are working on a deal which will see Lesnar work for both WWE & UFC.
This is in accordance with Joe Peisich reporting that Lesnar had a meeting with Vince last week and Brock revealed that he wants to work for both WWE & UFC at the same time.
This is similar to what WWE did back in 2016 when Lesnar was still under contract and fought in the UFC at their historic UFC 200 PPV.
Lesnar can definitely work for both WWE & UFC at the same time as he doesn’t work much WWE events anyway and he would have like two fights in the UFC in one year, so he can easily balance the schedule for both companies.
Also, Vince McMahon and UFC President Dana White wouldn’t have a problem with this either because when Brock worked the UFC 200 PPV, he helped in increasing the PPV numbers for that event and UFC promoted WWE’s SummerSlam 2016 event and WWE 2K17 video game in return for using Lesnar (who was under contract with WWE).
