• USA Network Hints That The Naomi & Sasha Banks Situation Is A Work?

Fans have their doubts regarding the Sasha Banks & Naomi situation being a work, as WWE broke kayfabe on Social Media by saying that RAW is a live scripted TV show.

If such a situation occurs, WWE doesn’t make a mention of it most of the times.

Speculation on this being a work increased when USA Network posted the following article on Twitter:

“The Most Famous WWE Walkouts of All Time – Last week wasn’t the first time @WWE Superstars have made a dramatic exit… #WWE”

The following names were listed in this article by USA Network:

– Stone Cold Steve Austin

– Alundra Blayze

– Goldberg & Brock Lesnar

– Randy Savage

– Sasha Banks & Naomi

Many fans thinks this article made this situation look like a storyline, as it seems like they want to promote this situation and make it go viral, thus bringing more attention to WWE programming.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (May 26, 1996) – WWF In Your House 8: Beware of Dog *DAY 1*

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 26, 1996, the World Wrestling Federation aired the first part of ‘WWF In Your House 8: Beware of Dog’ LIVE on PPV from the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina.

It was the 8th edition of the WWF In Your House pay-per-views, that took place between 1995 and 1999.

The power went out during the event, caused by a severe thunderstorm, thus resulting in only 2 matches airing that night and the other 3 matches aired 2 days later during the rescheduled pay-per-view, which included the 2 original matches from May 26th.

Here are the results from the first night:

– Marc Mero defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley

– WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Shawn Michaels (c) wrestled The British Bulldog to a no-contest

Plus several “dark matches”!
