On this day in WWF history on December 7, 1997, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WWF In Your House 19: D-Generation X’ LIVE on PPV from the Springfield Civic Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

This happened to be the very first PPV after the Montreal Screwjob, so Bret “The Hitman” Hart, “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith & Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart were already gone from the promotion at that point.

This was also “Double J” Jeff Jarrett’s first WWF PPV after he returned from WCW, and – on a more important note – featured the very first PPV match between “Stone Cold” Steve Austin & The Rock.

Here are the results:

WWF Light Heavyweight Championship – tournament final: Taka Michinoku def. Brian Christopher

Los Boricuas def. The Disciples of Apocalypse

Toughman match: Butterbean def. Marc Mero by DQ

WWF Tag Team Championship: The New Age Outlaws (c) def. The Legion of Doom by DQ

Boot Camp match: Triple H def. Sgt. Slaughter

Jeff Jarrett def. The Undertaker via DQ

WWF Intercontinental Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) def. The Rock

WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Ken Shamrock def. Shawn Michaels (c) by DQ
