WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel passed away at the age of 69. He was WWF’s first ever employee.

WWE CEO Vince McMahon tweeted the following regarding The Fink’s death:

“Saddened to learn of the passing of my friend and WWE’s first employee, WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel. The grandest moments in sports-entertainment history were made all the grander thanks to Howard’s iconic voice.”

16 Time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair tweeted the following:

“So Sorry To Hear Of The Passing Of Howard Finkel, A Great Friend For So Many Years. Rest In Peace! ??”

Two time WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart wrote the following about Fink’s passing on Instagram:

“I’m so sorry to learn of WWE’s all time great in ring announcer Howard Finkle’s passing today. I know better than anyone how hard life was for Howard after his stroke years ago.

When I look back on my career, I know “The Fink” was a big part of the success and excitement of those times. I will always think of Howard and smile at the lifetime of happy memories.”
