• Vince McMahon Had 2 Ideas For Cody Rhodes At WrestleMania 39
Cody Rhodes shocked the world in 2022, when he left the company that he helped start (AEW) and returned to the company where he made a name for himself when he first started wrestling during the Ruthless Aggression Era (WWE).
According to Fightful Select, when Vince McMahon was still in charge, he had two ideas for Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39:
– Face John Cena
– Compete for the WWE Championship
However, most plans made by Vince have been dropped now, and Cena is expected to face Logan Paul at WrestleMania Hollywood.
Cody’s WrestleMania 39 match depends on The Rock’s status for the show.
If The Rock can’t commit to wrestling Roman Reigns, then Cody will likely take his spot in the Undisputed Title match against The Tribal Chief by winning the Men’s Royal Rumble 2023 match.
If The Rock vs. Roman Reigns does happen, then we’re likely getting a 4th PPV match between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
