Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Vince McMahon and Cody Rhodes.

• In an interview with Inside The Ropes, former WWE Champion Kurt Angle gave a blunt assessment of his former WWE boss Vince McMahon, describing him as “f**king crazy” and reflecting on their unusual interactions.

Angle recounted McMahon’s unpredictable behavior, noting his “complicated” demeanor and antics that sometimes seemed unfitting for a CEO.

While Angle avoided revealing too much, he hinted at McMahon’s eccentric and private nature. He concluded with a bold remark in the end.

Here’s what the Olympic Gold Medalist said:

“Vince is f**king crazy. Sometimes he gives me this look like he wants to kick my a$$. Vince has this way about him that’s just… complicated. He does some crazy sh*t, and for a guy who’s the owner and CEO of a company, it’s like, ‘What the f**k, man? You’re the boss. You can’t be doing this stuff!’

I don’t want to say all the crazy stuff he does because, you know, some of it is more private. But Vince… Vince is a very special individual.

He’s going to hell when he dies.”

• On Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Rhodes hit Owens with a Cross Rhodes on a Steel Chair, that Owens introduced in the match, for the win.

After the show went off the air, Owens attacked Rhodes and hit a Package Piledriver. Cody was then taken out on a stretcher.

In an update, WWE announced two injuries to Rhodes:

“Earlier today it was confirmed that Cody Rhodes suffered cervical swelling and was kept overnight at a local hospital for observation.

While X-Rays were negative for a fracture, Rhodes has been officially diagnosed with axial compression of the cervical spine, as well as a cervical strain with spasm.”
