• Vince McMahon Reportedly Furious At TLC 2018 Title Match

According to the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon was furious at the Intercontinental Championship bout between Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose at last night’s TLC 2018 PPV.

As we noted during our TLC 2018 live coverage, fans chanted “This Is Boring” during this bout. The match ended with Ambrose defeating Rollins clean to capture the Intercontinental Championship for the third time in his career.

There are quite a few reasons that are being stated to understand why the fans were not interested in this match, like the show being too long (a total of 5 hours including the Kickoff Show which featured two matches), this match falling in the spot which previously used to be the “pi$$ break” (usually Divas matches were treated as pi$$ breaks before the main event) & more.

Rollins vs. Ambrose for the first-time with Ambrose being a heel and Rollins being a babyface was something that WWE officials thought was special, but the fans ended up not caring for this match and this could be one of the reasons why Vince wasn’t happy with what happened during this Title bout.

The bad response most likely won’t hurt Ambrose and Rollins in any way, as Ambrose is the new Intercontinental Champion and as we noted before, HUGE things could be beginning for Rollins now that he has dropped the Title (tap here to know more about possible plan for Rollins).
