• Vince McMahon & Triple H Don’t See SmackDown Star As The Next Face Of WWE
Sami Zayn has become a vital part of WWE programming every week, thanks to his storyline with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Bloodline on SmackDown.
Some fans thinks Sami’s rise is similar to Daniel Bryan’s 2013/2014 rise, and that Sami could defeat Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and become the next ‘Face Of WWE’.
However, that’s not going to happen.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon & Triple H don’t see Sami (who is a year older than the current Face of WWE: Roman Reigns) as the next Face of WWE:
“Sami’s not gonna be that guy but yeah Sami can win the championship. At this point, I would kind of go in that direction where he would win the championship. But as far as making him the face of the company, can they do that? They won’t.
I’ve been absolutely told that Vince McMahon and Paul Levesque do not see him as the face of the company.
He basically said the same thing, it’s not gonna happen.”
Zayn also said the same thing during a recent interview. He said he might win the WWE Championship, but he’ll never be the face of the company due to his look.
