• Vince McMahon Turns Down Idea For Former NXT Champion To Win Royal Rumble 2021 (Exclusive)
The road to WrestleMania 37 will officially begin on January 31, at the Royal Rumble 2021 pay-per-view.
There have been discussions about various names possibly winning the Men’s Royal Rumble 2021 match, and most of those choices have been turned down.
One of those choices is former NXT Champion Keith Lee, who is currently on the RAW brand.
Our sources tell us that Vince McMahon doesn’t think Keith Lee is ready for such a big push at this point in his WWE main roster career. Vince thought the same about Braun Strowman a few years ago, when Vince booked Braun to lose to Brock Lesnar in Universal Title matches.
Lee lost clean to Drew McIntyre in a WWE Championship match last week on RAW Legends Night.
As we have noted before, another name that got turned down to win the Men’s Royal Rumble 2021 match is current Intercontinental Champion Big E from SmackDown.

• Old School Wrestling Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School Wrestling Legend “The Madman from The Sudan” Abdullah the Butcher (Real name: Lawrence Shreve) celebrates his 80th birthday today.
Abdullah had a pretty long career in professional wrestling from 1958 until 2010, including working for various promotions such as World Wrestling Council, Jim Crockett Promotions & World Championship Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, Championship Wrestling From Florida, and World Class Championship Wrestling.
In 2011, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by fellow Old School Wrestling Legend Terry Funk.
