The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions once again after delivering a commanding 40-22 victory over the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs.

This marks the first Super Bowl win for quarterback Jalen Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni, redeeming themselves after falling to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. With the loss, Kansas City’s pursuit of the first three-peat in Super Bowl history came to an end.

Philadelphia’s defense put on a stellar performance, while Hurts played with efficiency and composure, leading the Eagles to their second Super Bowl title in franchise history. The defense limited the Chiefs to just 225 total yards and forced three turnovers, including a pivotal second-quarter pick-six by Cooper DeJean.

Hurts completed 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 72 yards—setting a new Super Bowl record for a quarterback—and scoring a Tush Push touchdown.

Saquon Barkley contributed 97 total yards, including 57 rushing yards on 32 touches.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns, though much of his production came after the Eagles had secured control of the game. He also had two interceptions and a lost fumble, bringing his Super Bowl record to 3-3 in six appearances.

Several wrestling stars attended Super Bowl LIX, including Vince McMahon, The Undertaker, Shane McMahon, The Bella Twins & Britt Baker.
