• Was WWE Interested In Bringing CM Punk Back Before AEW Deal?

CM Punk wrestled his last match back in January 2014. He’s now returning to the world of pro-wrestling as word going on is that he has signed with AEW.

He’s currently rumored to debut at an AEW show in Chicago in September.

While Punk signing with AEW is said to be a done deal, many fans are wondering if WWE tried to bring Punk back.

The Wrestling Observer reported the following about it:

“The last we heard WWE wasn’t interested in Punk.”

A source then told Ringsidenews the following:

“WWE has no interest in doing business with Punk.”
