• WBD Blocked Brody King From Appearing On AEW Dynamite Due To “F**k ICE” Chants
The absence of Brody King from the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite wasn’t a creative choice by Tony Khan, but rather a high-level corporate move influenced by international business and the current American political climate.
According to the Wrestling Observer, the decision to pull King from the broadcast came directly from AEW’s television partner, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).
The network reportedly feared a repeat of the “F**k ICE” chants that erupted during last week’s show in Las Vegas. With WBD currently navigating a massive acquisition by Netflix, the company is seeking regulatory approval from the Trump Administration.
Fearing that the U.S. President might take the anti-ICE chants personally, WBD executives stepped in to sanitize the broadcast to avoid getting on the government’s bad side during the sensitive merger process.
This corporate intervention completely sidelined the hottest program in the company. Following King’s dominant squash victory over MJF last week — a segment that went viral due to those very chants — both men were noticeably missing from Wednesday’s live show. Instead of an in-ring confrontation to build heat for their AEW World Title match at Grand Slam Australia this Saturday, fans were given a pre-produced video package.
While many within All Elite Wrestling were reportedly thrilled by the mainstream media attention the chants generated last week, the view from above was far more cautious.

• Heidenreich Is Back In The Spotlight 20 Years After WWE Release
After being released from WWE in January 2006, Heidenreich is back in the spotlight after 20 years, as a post about him went viral on social media. A fan named Wade Stratton posted a photo with Heidenreich and wrote:
“So I’m at work last week and there is an older gentleman stocking, we would always say ‘hey’ in passing , the other day he was like ‘did you ever watch WWE?’ I was like ‘as matter of fact I used to watch it all the time’
Then dude said ‘Yeah, I used to be a wrestler, I’ve wrestled The Undertaker, Booker T, Steven Regal, The Rock, I met Steve Austin at his debut match, Used to hang out with Triple H and Trish Stratus’
Like…… ‘Wait …… What?!’ Your kidding right ……. Dude was in fact……. Not kidding
One of the nicest most humble people I’ve met in a while
(I bought his action figure and had him sign it and pose for a picture with me, you could tell it made him happy to be able to be in the spotlight again and things like that make me happy, plus now I can say I’ve been put in a headlock by a professional wrestler lmao 🤣)”

Heidenreich competed in WWE from 2003 to 2006, primarily on the SmackDown brand. He had a high-profile angle with The Undertaker and later feuded with top names including Booker T.
He also captured the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Road Warrior Animal in 2005 before being released the following year. Heidenreich also did an infamous “r@pe” angle with Michael Cole.
