• WCW Celebrity Wrestler Jay Leno’s Face Burned (Details)
Former Tonight Show host and WCW celebrity wrestler Jay Leno has been hospitalized due to severe burns.
According to TMZ, the left side of Leno’s face got burned after one of the cars in his Los Angeles garage ‘erupted into flames without warning’. The flames did not penetrate his eyes or ears though.
He was admitted to the Grossman Burn Center in California. Leno was scheduled to appear at The Financial Brand conference on Sunday, but the organizers said he couldn’t appear due to a very serious medical emergency.
For those who don’t remember, Leno competed in a match in World Championship Wrestling.
At the WCW/nWo Road Wild 1998 pay-per-view, Leno teamed up with Diamond Dallas Page to defeat Hollywood Hogan & Eric Bischoff in a tag team match.
Leno pinned Bischoff to win the match for his team. You can watch it below:
