• WCW Legend Recalls Being Punched For Real In Front Of The Entire Locker Room

On a recent episode of Arn Anderson’s podcast, the Old School WCW Legend revealed that “Cowboy” Bill Watts once punched him in front of the entire WCW locker room, while Watts was the booker of Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1992.

Arn explained that Cowboy wanted the WCW wrestlers to kick & punch their opponents for real during matches and he used Arn to demonstrate how to do it, even calling him by the wrong name on purpose.

Arn said the following about the incident:

“He looks over at me and he goes, ‘Lars? Come here, Lars. Lars, come here.’ I’m looking around like, ‘Lars, who the hell is he talking about?’

Apparently he’s talking about me. ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah. You, Lars, get up.’

So I get up, covered the distance to where he’s standing, and he just goes. Straight punch, right in the forehead, and it shocked me so much and it shocked the boys so much.

There wasn’t a peep. I just looked at him like, ‘Is that it?’ He went, ‘Okay, Lars, go ahead, sit back down’.”
