On this day in 2004, World Wrestling Entertainment aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWE SmackDown!’.

It was pre-taped at the Savannah Civic Center in Savannah, Georgia and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWE WrestleMania XX’ PPV.

2. Danny Basham vs. Scotty Too Hotty

• What Happened After AEW Dynamite Went Off The Air?

As seen in the main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara defeated Darby Allin in a Handicap match after Inner Cirle attacked AEW World Champion Jon Moxley prior to the match.

Moxley tried to fight Inner Circle after the match, but got taken out with a Triple Shield Powerbomb off the stage through a table.

After Dynamite went off the air, Moxley was taken to the back on a stretcher and then AEW began taping matches for AEW Dark.

All Elite Wrestling taped the following matches for next week’s episode of AEW Dark before & after tonight’s episode of Dynamite:

– Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy def. Peter Avalon & Kip Sabian

– Jimmy Havoc def. Severino Corrente (Luther attacked Havoc after the match)

– Hikaru Shida def. Abadon

– Private Party def. Sonny Kiss & Brandon Cutler

Speaking of Dynamite, the following matches & segments have been announced for next week’s show:

– Cody Rhodes (with Arn Anderson) vs. Ortiz (with Santana)
