On this day in 1990, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.

It was broadcasted from the Lee Civic Center in Ft. Myers, Florida and featured pre-taped matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF WrestleMania VI’ PPV.

• What Happened After Last Night’s RAW Went Off The Air?

As seen in the main event of last night’s RAW, the team of Seth Rollins, Murphy & AOP defeated the team of Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens & The Viking Raiders in an 8 man tag team match.

After RAW went off the air, 13 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Viper” Randy Orton came out for a match with former WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth.

Orton won the match with an RKO.

Speaking of Orton, he viciously attacked Matt Hardy on RAW and this could’ve been Matt’s final WWE appearance (tap here to read more).

WWE posted the following footage of Hardy being helped to the back after Orton’s attack:
