On this day in 1988, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.

This episode was pre-taped at the Wheeling Civic Center in Wheeling, West Virginia and featured matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Survivor Series 1988’ PPV.

• What Happened After RAW Went Off The Air?

In the main event of last night’s RAW, the team of RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley faced the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross.

The match ended in a DQ when Sasha Banks attacked Becky.

Sasha started attacking Becky with a Steel Chair, but Bayley stopped her. Bayley then took the Chair and attacked Becky with it to turn heel!

After RAW went off the air, Sasha & Bayley celebrated and hugged each other, while Becky recovered from the shocking assault.
